Dance with me calls to both the peaceful and playful within. With its gentle natural colors and dreamlike light, this larger painting stands with open arms towards you. It invites you to unwind amongst the fairylike woods, or fall into the movements of my little dreamers heartily and lively dance.

Between you and me
Between you and me is about how we are connected to nature and each other at a cellular level. Feeling so close to someone or something, you are everything they are. Feeling without touching, letting love close the distance. Being so rooted you feel your roots extend.
Another aspect of this motif is how the dreamers (as I call my characters) derive peace and strength from the tree above, breathing in its stillness, while this tree grows out of them and the feeling of belonging. Which came first? In other words, everything is interdependent, and everything co-exists.

Seed *
Seed is an antithesis to the expression ”to bury one’s head in the sand”, and to its implication of ignoring uncomfortable truths. This painting instead suggests you to do so, in order to silence the voices that can both steal and control our attention and perceptions of reality. Shut out the outside world, bury your head in the sand, and see what happens when everything else falls silent. There, you may take root and have space to grow freely.

J’adoube
J’adoube (I adjust) is an expression used in chess to adjust a piece without moving it or affecting the game. It allows an exception from the rule that if a player touches a piece, it must be moved. This artwork plays with the idea of calling ”J’adoube” in life.

Yin Yang *
Yin Yang. The Yin Yang-symbol softly appears in what at first appears to be a nature motif. In the peace of nature, balance and insight will apear to you. The motif shows us that the opposite relationship within everything that exists, does not seem to oppose any other at all, but rather harmonize as nuances in the same whole.
