Seed is an antithesis to the expression ”to bury one’s head in the sand”, and to its implication of ignoring uncomfortable truths.
This painting instead suggests you to do so, in order to silence the voices that can both steal and control our attention and perceptions of reality.
Shut out the outside world, bury your head in the sand, and see what happens when everything else falls silent.
There, you may take root and have space to grow freely.

Another aspect of this motif is how the dreamers derive peace and strength from the tree above, breathing in its stillness, while this tree grows out of them and the feeling of belonging. Which came first?
Everything is interdependent, and everything co-exists.
